The Royal Hawaiian Hotel

Assignment. Reposition The Royal Hawaiian to attract a younger, more contemporary audience without losing its status as a historical icon.

Solution. A comprehensive, integrated campaign based on the Royal's original core values was created. With a nod to its history and a subtle wink at the glamorous love affair it inspired, the work showcased the contemporary luxuries provided by the renovation and spoke in a tone sure to be appreciated by today’s youthful and upwardly mobile target. 

Result. The Royal Hawaiian’s occupancy and average daily rate increased during the launch period of the campaign and mirrored the desired demographic.
