The Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger — Darell Castro

This former Holiday Inn underwent a $35 million renovation
and was rebranded into a vibrant contemporary craft hotel
that blends the art, music, culture and energy of Waikiki.

Social Content Video

Working in collaboration with architects and interior designers,
the reimagined guest rooms, public spaces, lobby and pool deck
served as inspiration for color, texture and overall style.

A cohesive look-and-feel was developed across all touch points, including
key cards, door hanger signs, room amenities, online and offline advertising,
sales and marketing pieces, hotel guest collateral and posters.

Inspired by a blend of art, music, and beach culture we partnered exclusively
with twelve local artists to create property programming that brought the Beachcomber experience to life.

TOMA - the Terrace of Modern Art - is our surf-art series featuring
celebrated artists who draw their inspiration from the beach.
